Fall 2010 Trend Report: The Long View

Fall fashions are my favorite, being that there are so many styles that you can rock and look amazing doing it! Well this season one of the trends is long lengths. It's time to put away those micro-minis and the sky-high heels, because these long lengths are sure to grab your attention. The designers have gone long for both day and night with long dramatic skirts draping the floor, and long cardigans hitting mid thigh. Take a peek at what graced the fall 2010 runways:

Staying cool this summer with great Ponytail ideas!

There are so many different and funky ways that you can rock a ponytail. It actually works for many different lengths and styles. Ponytails are usually the best way a girl can keep her look clean, simple, and sexy. So check out these different ponytails that will keep you looking great and staying cool in the summer heat!

Mermaid Ponytail: Don't bother to blow dry your hair to get this pony. Use a brush to smooth damp hair back and secure it at eye level. Scrunch a soft-hold gel into the length of the tail to bring out your hair's natural texture.

Side Ponytail: Its flirty, feminine and easy to pull off. Start by winding sections of hair around a 1-inch curling iron to create soft spirals. Then, part you hair down the center and gather everything into a low side pony, making sure you leave a few face-framing pieces.

Evening Pony: This one is super-high, super-sleek ponytail is a great option when it is extremely hot outside and you still want to look polished and elegant. Add a rubber band a quarter of the way down the length of you hair, next weave a short, loose braid and then you can secure it with another rubber band.

Wrapped Ponytail: Here is another sleek high ponytail, that is a little more easy to do, and a lot quicker. Once you have all of the hair up in a high pony, cover the rubber band with a one-inch section of hair. Pin down the ends underneath the base of the tail. You can use a drop of shine serum to tame any fuzzies you see.

Bangin' Pony: Show any cut of your bangs off with a simple mid-to-low-level ponytail. You may just need to run a flatiron over the length to make your hair extra sleek.

There's so many other ways that you can rock a cool ponytail, but these are just a few styles that have been quite trendy this season, so good luck ladies!

Fashion Rumor: Lady Gaga working on a fragrance

UK's Marketing magazine reported that Lady Gaga is working on an "unusual" fragrance with Coty, which is actually the same company that makes Sarah Jessica Parker and Kate Moss's scents. It is said that Gaga's perfume will come out for Christmas with a giant marketing campaign. Coty has not yet confirmed any of the speculations, so when I have definite information, I'll be sure to keep you updated.

Nayla Hayek named Chairwoman for Swatch

The board of the Swatch Group has appointed Nayla Hayek as chairman to succeed her late father Nicolas Hayek, who died of heart failure on June 28 at the age of 82. The Hayek children are teaming up to lead the company, with Nicolas Hayek Jr. who has been filling the role of chief executive officer since 2003, and now Nayla Hayek chairwoman.

The Swatch Group has has actually been preparing Nayla Hayek for the position over the past years. She was voted in unanimously, and has become the only woman to chair a company of the Swiss benchmark SMI index. Nayla became vice chairman of Swatch Group in May and runs its Tiffany Watch unit, and also joined the watchmaker's board of directors in 1995.

The Swatch Group has definitely been left in good hands, and with this great family duo, they will have great success in this fashion industry.
