2011 Oscars Best Dressed

Jennifer Hudson looked amazing in her tangerine Versace halter gown.

Working her way down the red carpet, Jennifer Lawrence looked hot in a sexy Calvin Klein dress.

After all the drama that has been attached to Sandra Bullock, she still looked great rocking a strapless scarlet Vera Wang gown.

Reese Witherspoon looked beautiful in her 60's Hollywood Glamour Black & White Giorgio Armani Prive column gown.

Every year Halle Berry looks amazing on the red carpet, and this year was no different! She was breathtaking in her crystal encrusted Marchesa gown.

After giving birth to two twin boys this past October, you definitely can't tell because Celine Dion looked amazing. She was wearing a sleek Armani Prive gown, with a Van Cleef & Arpels necklace.

Dior Suspends John Galliano after Weekend Drama

Over the weekend, all were stunned to hear the news that Christian Dior designer, John Galliano had been arrested for being allegedly abusive and anti-semitic. Galliano was reported drinking in Paris when the incident happened with a couple in the le Marais district. Since the incident, Galliano has been suspended from Dior pending further investigation, and has now filed a defamation claim against the couple.

Galliano feels the suspension from Dior is a decision that has been made without verification of the facts and based on one side of the story, and he is very shocked of the decision. He insists that the racist and anti-semitic comments were never uttered and that he has provided the police with three witness statements.

I will stay tuned to see how the rest of this story unfolds in the near future!

Calvin Klein Goes Mod for Fall 2011

A clean Mod look was the way to go for Calvin Klein at Fashion Week in NYC. "I began by thinking of the Mods and their sense of style, but then added volume and took it somewhere different with the fabrics," said ready-to-wear designer Francisco Costa.

The hedonism of the British youth cult was apparent in the curvy silhouette, almost chess piece, which Costa used in slate metallic sheath dresses or Alpaca sweatshirts. Though his most striking looks were a series of mono-color short dresses enlivened with just a few contrasting panels. Costa also broke new ground with his fabrics, in particular a ribbon jacquard that was futurist and dramatic when used in several great cocktail dresses. Most looks were anchored by brushed calf pumps in colors like wheat, zinc and truffle.
